Each pin takes a ratchet-style quick release handle.

Additionally, the pins hold up to four TRED GT, HD or Pro boards stacked. They also take two of the older TRED 1100 or 800 boards. That covers a single pair on a weekend run or a doubled-up set for a longer trip.

Moreover, the kit is lockable. TRED recommends a 30 mm (1.2 in) padlock with a 5 mm (0.2 in) shackle. Stainless steel hardware for fixing the pins to the baseplate is included, along with flush slot covers.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Mount the TRED Quick Release Mounting Kit for Recovery Boards to a roof rack, a pickup tray or a trailer.
