The HydraPak PackFlask Hydration Bottle moves your water from inside the pack to the front of your shoulder strap. Runners have had that for years in vest pockets. Hikers have been stopping, dropping the pack and digging, which on a Wadi Shawka scramble is the reason people under-drink.

Features and Benefits

A stretch mesh pouch clips to your pack harness and holds the flask. You drink without breaking stride or asking someone to pull a bottle out for you. Take the flask out and the pouch carries a phone, a map or a handful of dates instead.

Additionally, the flask itself is TPU with welded seams, so it collapses flat and rolls up once it is empty. That matters on the walk out, when a rigid bottle is just volume you are still carrying.

Beyond that, the high-flow silicone nozzle self-seals after each pull and a flip-up dust cover keeps grit off it, which is worth having on any trail where fine sand gets on everything. The flask threads onto most 42 mm filters, including the HydraPak 42 mm Filter Cap and the UltraFlask+ Filter Cap, turning it into a squeeze filter.
