ARB Ratchet Tie-Down Strap 50 mm x 5 m

ARB Ratchet Tie-Down Strap 50 mm x 5 m

The ARB Ratchet Tie-Down Strap 50 mm x 5 m is built for bulky loads. Five metres of webbing wraps a full camp box, a spare wheel or a trailer load. There is still enough tail left to ratchet down.

Features and Benefits

The 50 mm (2 in) webbing spreads tension across a wider band. ARB rates this strap at a lashing capacity of 1,000 kg (2,205 lb). At 5 m (16.4 ft) long, it spans a full-width roof rack. It also reaches around a stack of gear in a trailer. Safety orange polyester with reflective markings stays visible in low light.

Additionally, rubber handles with silicone coated cam sleeves make tensioning easier on a long, heavy load. Zinc plated hooks resist corrosion. ARB lists the strap as compliant with AS/NZS 4380. After the trip, it rolls into the included storage bag.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Strap down a loaded trailer with ARB Ratchet Tie-Down Strap 50 mm x 5 m for a long weekend at Liwa. Or tie a bulky load to the roof rack before the run into the dunes. Hook only to rated anchor points and stay within the lashing capacity. Recheck tension after the first stretch of soft sand.
