ARB Recovery Snatch Strap 9 m 8T

ARB Recovery Snatch Strap 9 m 8T

The ARB Recovery Snatch Strap 9 m 8T rolls up small enough to live in the vehicle full time. It is 60 mm (2.4 in) wide and weighs 2.3 kg (5.1 lb), the lightest of the three ARB snatch straps we stock. ARB gives it a maximum load rating of 8,000 kg (17,637 lb).

Features and Benefits

Its key trait is 20% elongation under load. The nylon stretches as the recovering vehicle moves off, stores that energy, then returns it as a smooth pull. That softer build-up is easier on both vehicles than a static tow line.

Additionally, the eyes are reinforced and protected by sleeves, along with the stitched seams. Those sleeves take the wear where a strap eye rubs on a shackle or a bumper edge. The high-visibility colour also makes the strap easy to see stretched across pale sand.

Product-Specific Use Cases

This is the ARB Recovery Snatch Strap 9 m 8T to carry on every weekend run to Al Faya or the Liwa dunes. It packs into a compact recovery bag behind a seat. Stick to the basics. Use rated recovery points only, never a tow ball, add a damper, and keep people clear. If you are unsure which rating suits your vehicle, ask our team before you buy.
