Additionally, the light draws less than 1 A at 12 V. That is a small load on the vehicle battery overnight. An IP54 splash rating and weather-resistant external plugs handle dew and dust.

Beyond that, the unit extends power from a spare 12 V socket in your vehicle. It has its own 12 V socket rated for 8 A continuous draw. Two USB ports add 2.1 A and 1 A outputs, all on a fused 4 m (13 ft) cable.
