The Edelrid Hand Cruiser Right Ascender is a handled rope clamp for ascending fixed lines, certified to EN 12841-B and EN 567. It runs on kernmantle rope from 8 to 13 mm (0.3 to 0.5 in). The curved body is shaped to cut friction against the rope as you slide it up.
