The Edelrid Interstatic Protect 11 mm Static Rope braids high-strength aramid fibres into the sheath during manufacture. Edelrid states this gives almost double the cut resistance of a static rope with a comparable sheath proportion and diameter.

Features and Benefits

The integrated aramid sheath is the point of this rope. Cut resistance is built into the braid rather than added as a coating, so it does not wear off with use the way a surface treatment does.
