The Edelrid Mission Set Ultralight Quickdraw are built for alpine routes and trad days, where the rack you carry is the rack you haul up the route. The carabiners use an offset D shape with a Keylock nose, in aluminium and Dyneema throughout.

Features and Benefits

The Keylock closure matters more on alpine ground than at a bolted crag. There is no hook to catch on a wire, a sling or a nut cable. So a draw comes off gear cleanly when you are cleaning a pitch in a hurry.

Additionally, two sling options cover different jobs. A 14 cm version uses a 15 or 22 mm HMPE sling with anti-twist, keeping the lower carabiner oriented, while a 60 cm version on an 8 mm Dyneema sling extends over roofs and around features.

Beyond the sling, the offset D carabiner shape puts the load where the metal is thickest. That is how Edelrid keeps weight down without giving up strength. The set is certified to EN 566 and EN 12275, with a 20 mm gate opening.
