Honey Badger Medium Drop Point Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel

Honey Badger Medium Drop Point Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel

The Honey Badger Medium Drop Point Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel is a folding knife for the small jobs that pile up at camp. It cuts guy line at Al Qudra, slices fruit by Hatta Dam and opens food packs on a Liwa overnight. Its 81 mm (3.2 in) blade is long enough to do real work and compact enough to stay easy to manage.

Features and Benefits

The drop point blade is the shape Honey Badger describes as its original design. The spine curves down to meet the point, so the tip stays controllable for fine work. You still get a full belly for slicing. The 8Cr13MoV stainless blade has a satin finish and is easy to bring back to a keen edge.

Additionally, the handle is FRN (fibre reinforced nylon) with a honeycomb pattern. That texture grips in several directions, and Honey Badger states it gives a secure, slip-resistant hold. A finger choil lets you choke up on the blade for detailed cuts. At 84 g (3 oz) the knife barely registers in a pack.

Beyond that, a liner lock holds the blade open while you work. The pocket clip moves to either side for left or right-hand carry and sits deep, so the knife rides low. Honey Badger backs it with a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Keep the Honey Badger Medium Drop Point Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel in the camp box for desert nights at Al Qudra or Liwa, where it handles cord, packaging and food prep around the fire. It earns a spot on Hajar Mountains day hikes too. It is light enough to forget until you need to trim a strap or cut tape for a hot spot on your heel.
