Honey Badger Medium Wharncleaver Knife 14C28N Steel

Honey Badger Medium Wharncleaver Knife 14C28N Steel

The Honey Badger Medium Wharncleaver Knife 14C28N Steel is a Wharncleaver suited to days near water. 14C28N is a stainless steel developed for knife blades. Add a straight edge and a blunt, rounded tip, and you have a utility folder suited to boats, marinas and coastal camps.

Features and Benefits

The straight Wharncleaver edge meets rope, line and tape evenly along its length for clean, controlled cuts. Honey Badger designs the blunt tip to reduce the risk of accidental injury. That matters on a rocking deck or a crowded camp table.

Additionally, the stainless blade suits the salt and humidity of the Gulf coast, provided you rinse and dry it after use. The 81 mm (3.2 in) blade has a satin finish, and there is no finger choil, so the full edge cuts.

Beyond that, a liner lock holds the blade open, and the FRN handle carries a honeycomb grip that Honey Badger states resists slipping even when wet. The movable clip suits either hand. It weighs 82 g (2.9 oz) and has a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Keep the Honey Badger Medium Wharncleaver Knife 14C28N Steel in the boat bag for trips out of Khor Fakkan or Abu Dhabi, where it cuts line, rope and bait packaging. For sailors and paddlers the blunt tip makes it a safe, practical choice on deck. On a beach camp at Dibba it handles tarp lines and food prep.
