Honey Badger Small Claw Smooth Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel

Honey Badger Small Claw Smooth Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel

The Honey Badger Small Claw Smooth Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel gives you a curved hawkbill blade with a plain edge. Where the serrated version saws, this one slices cleanly, which suits scaling and cleaning fish or careful skinning work. The compact 70 mm (2.8 in) blade keeps it easy to control in the hand and easy to stow.

Features and Benefits

The plain-edged claw draws the material into the cut as you pull back. A smooth edge leaves a cleaner line than serrations, so it handles fish skin, fruit and soft packaging neatly. It still bites into line and cord thanks to the hooked profile.

Additionally, the plain edge is quicker to sharpen than a serrated one, and 8Cr13MoV stainless steel takes a keen edge with little effort. That makes field maintenance on a long weekend simple. A finger choil gives you a forward grip for precise, short cuts.

Plus, a liner lock holds the blade open, and the movable clip suits left or right-hand carry. The FRN handle has Honey Badger's honeycomb grip, which the brand states resists slipping even when wet. It weighs 82 g (2.9 oz) and has a 10-year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Bring the Honey Badger Small Claw Smooth Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel on fishing trips to Umm Al Quwain or the Khor Fakkan breakwater, where it scales and cleans the catch. At a beach camp near Dibba it slices fruit and trims cord. Clean it with fresh water and dry it before folding after time on the coast.
