Honey Badger Small Leaf Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel

Honey Badger Small Leaf Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel

The Honey Badger Small Leaf Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel weighs just 70 g (2.5 oz). Its leaf-shaped blade runs to a fine point along a long spine, and jimping on the back gives your thumb purchase. It suits ultralight packers and anyone who wants precision in a small folder.

Features and Benefits

The leaf blade with spine jimping is built for control. The fine point starts cuts exactly where you place it, and the ridged jimping stops your thumb sliding forward when you push. It is a good match for first-aid tape, packaging and small repairs on gear.

Additionally, you can open it two ways, with the thumb hole or the flipper tab. A liner lock then holds the blade open. To close it, push the liner aside and fold the blade back into the handle. A finger choil lets you choke up for close work.

Beyond that, the 8Cr13MoV stainless blade sharpens easily. The FRN handle has a honeycomb grip that Honey Badger states resists slipping even when wet. The movable deep-pocket clip suits either hand, and the 10-year warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Pack the Honey Badger Small Leaf Knife 8Cr13MoV Steel for ultralight overnights in the Hajar Mountains or a fast hike up Jebel Yibir, where its 70 g (2.5 oz) weight goes unnoticed. On a Hatta kayak and camp weekend it trims cord, opens food packs and handles small repairs. The fine tip is handy for small gear repairs and fiddly packaging.
