The Kong Ergo Tactical Quickdraw is a sport climbing draw in matte black, built around two Ergo connectors on a nylon sling. The straight gate goes on the bolt, the bent gate takes the rope. The whole thing is made and tested piece by piece in Italy.

Features and Benefits

The bent gate on the rope end is the detail you feel on a redpoint. It guides the rope into the basket in one motion. So a clip from a poor stance costs you less energy and less time hanging off one arm.

Additionally, the straight gate on the bolt end clips hangers cleanly and stays put once loaded. The nylon sling gives you something solid to grab when you are working a route. That thin Dyneema draws never quite do.

Beyond performance, the black finish keeps the draw discreet. Kong points to military training, theatre and film rigging, and acrobatic shows, where visible hardware is a problem. It is certified to EN 12275 and comes in 12 cm and 16 cm lengths.
