The Kong Raizer Rope Rescue Winch is a 7.3 kg geared winch. It clamps to a tripod or pole to raise and lower people and loads on rope. Two selectable gear ratios let one machine handle both speed and power.

The two gear ratios are 12.8 to 1 and 40 to 1. The faster ratio takes up slack and moves an unloaded line. The 40 to 1 setting handles the loaded lift. An operator is not fighting the gearing at either end of the job.
