National Geographic Sky Assist 102/660 Telescope

National Geographic Sky Assist 102/660 Telescope

The National Geographic Sky Assist 102/660 Telescope turns your smartphone into a guide to the night sky. A blue device mount on top of the tube pairs with the ARTelescope App to help you locate and identify constellations and planets.

Features and Benefits

The smartphone-guided Sky Assist mount lets you attach your own device to the telescope. The app then shows where to point, with an in-app encyclopedia and fun facts about each target, so learning happens as you observe.

Additionally, the 102 mm (4 in) aperture refractor with a 660 mm (26 in) focal length gathers enough light for nebulae and star clusters. Two interchangeable eyepieces and a Barlow lens give four magnification options.

Moreover, a dual slow-motion alt-azimuth mount moves smoothly as you track. The full-size tripod has a centre accessory tray, and an extra adapter holds your phone over the eyepiece to capture and share images.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Take the family to Al Qudra or Mleiha on a clear winter night and let the app lead the tour. Then photograph the Moon through the eyepiece and share the shots before you drive home.
