STV Big Cheese Mini-Sonic Mouse Repellent

STV Big Cheese Mini-Sonic Mouse Repellent

The STV Big Cheese Mini-Sonic Mouse Repellent is a compact plug-in unit that uses ultrasound designed to encourage mice to leave the room it covers.

Features and Benefits

The unit sends out continuous ultrasonic sound waves pitched above human hearing.

Furthermore, The Big Cheese states these sound waves sit within the hearing range of mice and rats. The brand says this creates an acoustically hostile room that encourages rodents to move away and find somewhere else to live.

Beyond that, the sound is inaudible to cats and dogs. The micro-footprint housing plugs straight into the wall without blocking the neighbouring socket.

However, pet rodents hear the same frequencies. Keep the unit away from rooms housing gerbils, hamsters or guinea pigs.

Plus, STV Big Cheese Mini-Sonic Mouse Repellent runs around the clock once switched on, with no traps to reset and no poison to place. That makes it a tidy option where a trap would be awkward to fit.

Product-Specific Use Cases

Plug one into a kitchen, storeroom or majlis where you have heard scratching.

However, The Big Cheese rates each unit for a single room, so large or irregularly shaped spaces may need a second unit. For several rooms, the 3-pack version covers more ground.
